Springs and Trunion upgrade

I'm running the GPI SS4 cam.

So my springs are getting close to the point I need to replace them and I had done the comp cams trunion upgrade which I've now seen to many failures to keep in my car.

Anyone have any feedback on straub trunion Kit?
What's springs is everyone using with their ss3/4 cams?

I just installed an ss3 and the straub bushings 3k miles ago so I can't say how long they last or how well they've been doing because I haven't pulled the valve covers since the install. But when I got them they looked really good quality and was easy to install with no trouble. And for springs I'm using the btr .660

Btr spring kit. I believe btr makes their own bushing kit now. Thought I saw one in an email I got from them a few weeks back

Using the BTR .660 spring kit with titanium retainers and went with the Straub Bronze trunion upgrade. I've only had the cam about a month but everything is smooth so far

BTR VVT stage 2 with Bronze Straub trunnions for over a year old and other than the engine making too much power for the axles and a throttle body that lost 5v ref, car has been running great. (both issues fixed)

GPI VVT SS1, BTR .660 springs, and went with Straub trunions w/solid bushings. About 2K miles and good so far.

A buddy went with CHE trunions w/solid bushings. Both Straube and CHE are very good quality, but I'll give CHE bonus points for impressive precision and not having to press fit the bushings. They fit very snug, but no pressing needed (you still have to press out the oem needle bearings). You won't go wrong with either one.

Was looking at Straub, can't swing the cost for CHE. I'll deal with having to use a press before I spend $400 on bushings!
Looks like BTR is carrying a kit from Smith brothers, with micro-polished and hardened rocker shafts, and priced right. I'll probably swap these in sooner than later:

CHE is only $70 more from Texas Speed....

The new CHE design does not require a press fro installation. I can remove the old trunions using a large C-Clamp...

CHE trunnion upgrade was $215 shipped. I bought it direct from CHE.
