New to me 2013 ZL1

Just picked up an inferno orange 2013 ZL1 all stock with only 3,000 miles on it. Coming out of Challenger Scat Pack, which was my fourth Challenger, so it was time for something different.

Love this car! Need to get some Xpel on it ASAP though. These tires pick up everything and throw it at the rear fenders. I had the splash guards installed, which should help. I'm thinking maybe some harder tires for the street, as well as some new rims.

I live right down the road from Nickey Performance, so I'm sure mods are coming.

Awesome! That's a nice low miles car you picked up. Silver or black wheels?

Silver 5 spoke wheels. Considering some options for something different.

Congrats...You're going to love it over the Challenger...Is it auto or manual, any mods down to it already???If you're looking for a great all season tire I would suggest you look at the BFG's Comp 2 A/S quiet, comfortable, cut thru standing water like a hot knife thru butter, great traction in all seasons...Welcome aboard...

It's a manual. It was 100% stock when I bought it. However, I just received a CF Rotofab CAI as step 1. Loved the Challengers I owned, the 392 is a beast, it was just time for a change.

I think I have a lead on a set of American Racing Torque Thrust M's. I am going to use those for street driving with a harder compound tire than the F1's.

The torque thrust wheels will not be the same width as the wheels that came stock on your ZL1.
The ZL1's come with 11" rear wheels, and the widest torque thrust they make is 10".
I had a set of torque thrusts on my 2011 SS, and wanted to buy some for my 2013 ZL1, but that's when I found they only make them up to 10" wide.

They will fit on the car just fine, you just won't be able to use wider tires on the back.

Let the mods begin and don't take comments personally.
