Coilovers on 2012 ZL1
Hi , so found out my rear struts are blown,
So I figured I'm probably better off just getting a set of coilovers, My question is this, I'm assuming there's some sensors going into he stock ones now with the magnetic ride set up, and some error codes will probably start poping up once the new set up goes in, anyone know if that's true and if so how to take care of the codes? Also any input on D2 racing RS line? Thanks |

what are your goals with the car? open tracking or just street driving?
Aren't the D2's cheap chinese brand shocks? I'd think better to replace the stock shocks with stock shocks but buy some lowering springs so you can keep the stock adjust-ability of the magnetic ride control |

Subscribed. My shocks are fine, but when they blow I'll be going to a mid-market coil over offering, like KW or Ohlin.

Not a fan of replacing MRC on anything but a hard core track car. A ZL1 delivers an amazing ride and also very good road course track performance. Can we do better on a road course psuedo race car with coilovers, absolutely. Can we match the ride quality or come close, nope.
