Getting Ready for Laguna Seca... E85

Would have cost me 400$ in fuel at the track for 100oct

Instead was 90$ and makes more power with all the other benefits!

My hero! Just did E85 conversion for that reason. I race @ NCM when I get the chance. They have a pump nearby with E85. But I like the idea of taking E85 to the track...

That's because with E85 you will get around 1/2 the MPG as gasoline would provide.

When Indy Cars changed from gasoline to ethanol the required minimum MPG went from 4.5 to 2.1.

Yeah, probably a BTR Stg 3 Cam...

IMSA WeatherTech runs E15 i believe

This studf comes in at 80% Ethanol in the computer...

I actually plan on hauling full can and 15-5gal containers to Laguna, probably wont need it all, bring it back home...

I don't have a good way to haul fuel to the track (I drive my car there), or else I'd try the same thing. As it is right now, I can't make it through three 30-minute sessions without starving the fuel pickup, so getting through only two sessions would be tough on E85.

I want to go E85 but I don't have enough places around me that sell it. I daily drive my car and my mileage is already in the single digits. I would be at the gas station constantly.

Crash76, where in Cali are you? I'm in the 831 near Laguna Seca, and don't think I've ever seen E85 around here. I would like to switch but would hate to drive to the bay to fill up gas canisters for each track day.

Also, I'm going to Thunderhill this Friday with HOD, were you planning on going to that as well?
