Hi Guys,
Hope everyone is doing well. My name is Craig and, I'll be honest, I've never owned a Camaro. I've browsed this site several times and I thought it was the right time to sign up. A little about myself. Long story short, I grew up overseas in Saudi Arabia for most of my childhood. Dad was in the USAF and became a contractor shortly after I was born. I grew up in a GM family and have always loved cars. I joined the USAF after finishing high school and got a Pontiac G6 as my first car (it was my first car, just wanted something to get from A to B.) My second car was a 2012 Mustang GT, which was a great car. I'll be honest though, as great of a car as it was, the transmission was garbage and the car made no low-end torque. I traded it in for my current vehicle, a 2015 Chevrolet SS. Love this car and I would argue that it is actually faster than my Mustang was (Mustang was FBO, SS has CAI, headers, tune). While I love my SS, I fell in love with the 6th Gen Camaros when they came out (was not a huge fan of the 5th gens.) That being said, I'm currently saving up a little money so I can get a ZL1. Might even order a brand new one, I saw a video of a guy taking a delivery of his new ZL1 and one of my goals in life is to order a brand new car. I've read a lot about a person named Becky. Other than that, I'm just a regular guy. I've transitioned from the USAF to the Reserves and am currently working on my degree so I can go back Active Duty as an Officer. I'm also a contractor here at Nellis AFB. Any questions let me know. I am happy to be here =) |

Really looked at the SS and liked it before I bought my Camaro... but after I drove the 1LE, it was over.  My Dad was active duty USN for 20 years... was stationed at MacDill AFB in Tampa, and Wheeler AFB in Wahiawa.

Craig, Welcome to our happy little corner of the net, and to Camaro5/6. There is a BIG fridge on the back porch with anything you can think of in it...help yourself...of course only take what you can LEGALLY have. Make yourself at home on one of the big fluffy couches, kick your shoes off, put your feet up on one of the tables, yes we are allowed to do that, mom's, dad's, wives', husband's, girlfriend's and boyfriend's here don't care....and take it easy.
oh...btw....every once in a while a food fight breaks out...so you may not want to wear nice clothes here. Welcome!!
