I think the corvette would because it's lighter

The Vette will win because of the automatic. And it's liter.

The Corvette would win unless they are a really bad driver. The Vette is about 500lb lighter than the Camaro.

Off the line and top end go to the Vette, but the gearing in the base automatic Vette would lose to the SS on the drag strip. A Z51 geared M6 Vette would win 1/4 mile.

same driver skill, the vette. its not even debatable. LS3 Corvette > LS3 Camaro
however, vs an older LS2 Vette, the LS3 Camaro will win. Ask me how i know
