Why not? Haven't found one.

Doesn't have to be anything official but it would be nice if one of the shops about town could be the motivator. Either a roll in at the shop or at hooters or some other such location.

I have been cruising around Orlando for a week now in the new ride and have yet to see even one other of you guys.

Hey, my son has a black 2LT and I have a white 2SS...... we live in Windermere. Sign us up for membership! It would be nice to get a shop to base it at. You would think that it would be good for business. I don't know about you but I have a laundry list of mods I want to get done......!

I know there are more of us out there. I've seen 'um around!

If we cannot get a 5th Gen club started the 5th Gen's are more then welcome to join Classic Camaro of Central Florida (www.cccfonline.com) Central Floridas longest established Camaro club 19 years old.

We meet every 3rd Saturday over at Classic Chevrolet in Altamonte Springs @ 4:30pm. after the meeting we cruise to different locations evach month (last month we hit Downtown Winter Garden cruise). We currently have 4 5th Gen owners (3-SS cars, and 1 2LT/RS) plus plenty of 1st-4th Gen's.

It does sound like a plan. Lets put the word out about this coming November meet. I would love to compare notes on our experiences.

I had a problem last week with the check engine light. Onstar said it was an evaporator leak so I refit the gas cap to no avail. The dealer took like 4 hours to figure out it was a bad fuel filter (at 512 miles) and I have to wait a week for them to order one. All that being said, I love the car and it never fails to attract lookers and conversation.

Drove over to Cocoa Beach on Saturday and stopped at Ron Jon. Jeez, you would have thought I was famous or something. Like 20 people standing around looking at it including a few bikini clad young ladies.

Saw a black SS/RS today and waved...person must have thought I was nuts as I was driving my Equinox! Look forward to meeting up with some of the "locals". Scheduling is tough now with holidays, family issues and Corvette commitments. I may try to make it to Classic on the 21st but will be in my Vette on the way back from Tampa.

I got talked into going to Fix Fest in Bradenton saturday but if we get back in time i'll hit up classic chevy for that meet. Im up for trying to get another routine meet going on somewhere though, maybe UCF area where the ucf car club meets?

Today 4:30pm Classic Camaro of Central Florida will hold our November car meeting (on the 2nd floor) All 5th Gen, 4th Gen, 3rd Gen, 2nd Gen, and 1Gen as well as Firebird & Camaro/Firebird fans are more than welcome to attend.

I will be at the meeting but not with my 5th Gen I am picking up my emclosed trailer at my in-laws today so I can put the 5th Gen in the trailer for a show this week.

Im on another site, (fuelslut.net) and they have meets every friday and sat night (sat night being the bigger of the 2) on the corner of Orange and colonial. I dont have a 5th gen, but i have a 4th.
