Is there any value (monetary or use) to a brand new HP Tuner Pro kit that was determined to be purchased using a stolen or fraudulent credit card and HP will not support it?

how do u have it ? does it have the credits that came with it ?

I purchased it from someone not knowing.. it is brand new so I assume all the credits are there. I have not connected to the app yet.. I was planning to get it registered then download the app but I do have another unit with an app so I can check.

It gets a polling failure when I go to check credits which I believe is because the application key doesn't match the interface SN.. so I guess the credits are on it if you could get an application key for this ID.. that is where I learned of the issue when I reached out to HP support for that.

Being honest I paid $450 + shipping which I thought was a great deal until this.. I do have an opportunity to take a credit or return.. The seller is flexible (they were a liquidator and were not aware of this) so if it works for someone here as is make me an offer and PM me. I should come out whole but the most important thing is ensuring what I know is ok for you and you will be happy.

Here is a pic of the actual kit (no box just the bag it came in) ..

To my knowledge, HPT can actually remotely brick a cable. That thing very well could be a paperweight.
