I need some helping deciding on wheels

I am interested in having black wheels with some kind of red accent but am not settled on what exactly I want to do. I am rather new to customizing a car so if you can please cut me a little slack . First off I should probably mention that I do not plan on doing any kind of racing with this car (RJT 2SS/RS) so $8K wheels won't be necessary. What I am looking for is something that will change the appearance of the car without using up a ton of $ that should be used on fuel .

I had originally settled on getting some BOSS 339's

These are "cheap" (I am used to buying steel wheels at the junkyard for $20, lol) and come in at $864 for all 4 wheels.

Another option that I have thought about is the possibility of just getting the stock midnight silver rims powdercoated black and having a red accent trim painted along the lip.

Here's a photoshopped pic someone had

My only reservations in regards to doing this is I will lose the "stockness" (is that a word?) of the original rims. I have seen a few others that I like but just don't know enough about wheels or tires to know what to or not to get. I really like the looks of the BOSS rims that I posted above but I want to make sure what I get is a quality item.

So with that being said what would your advice be? I really don't want to spend $2K on wheels but if that's what it takes to get a quality item then that might be what I have to do, that or just get the stocks painted.

Thanks for reading .

MOST IMPORTANT... Make sure whatever you buy fit! Just because they're 5x120 and a certain offset don't mean they'll work. Find yourself a wheel you like, then find out if they will work or not, ask the seller.

I think that the stock midhight silver with red accent looks better, just my 2 cents. Kinda it is"stock" but yet its not, plus its alot cheaper too!

The BOSS wheels look great, but I can't testify if they are quality or not. Painting the stockers will look good and be a lot cheaper, but the BOSS wheels will really set it off.

An advantage to painting the stock rims would be that there wouldn't be any kind of "advertising" on the rims, other than the bowtie which I would most likely have painted red as well.

Thanks for the votes and thoughts so far, if you happen to have a brand other than what I have listed please feel free to post it .

I plan to PC my stock rims gloss black when I get mine. Shouldn't be too expensive.
