The L99 is considered an LSX motor correct? Basically an LS3 with AFM?

The L99 is a modified LS3, so it is considered part of the LS family of engines.

LSX is actually an iron racing block (block only) based off the LS* series.

Some people use LSx when referring to the series... So the L99 isn't technically a LSX, but it is a LS series motor. Confusing isn't it
