Questions about ordering camaro
I just read that the wait time is 3 months now. However one of the local dealers told me it would only b a month wait. Is the wait time different for each area? If it helps, I'm located in arizona east valley

All depends on dealer allocations. Need to talk to BeckyD or CamaroScotty.

The wait time will be different based on dealer. If a dealer has an open allocation for the car you want to order then the wait should be between 1-2 months. Someone correct me if I'm wrong.
If a dealer doesn't have an open allocation then the wait time could be 3-6-12 months or more. It all depends when they get an open allocation

Why not use the locater to find one? There are plenty on Camaros on the lots here in Michigan. The southern states are dry (figuratively) and command a premium both in demand and price over MSRP.
Raul was looking at 5-10k over MSRP in Florida. He ordered from my guy and got his car below MSRP and drop shipped from Michigan. What are you looking for? I have some free time. Or you can order there and wait.

I have 5 open allocations available right now. If you do not order the RS package it should be picked up immediately and delivery should be about a month more or less. I am located just west of San Antonio and NEVER sell for over MSRP. If there are rebates or programs you qualify for then you can use them. PM me if you would like.

I would be happy to help too!
![]() NOT a three month wait here. The last car I ordered got here in under 5 weeks. Or, I would be happy to get one of those Banshee found here in MI for you too. I have access to locate any car you're looking for. And we honor ALL GM discounts, rebates and incentives. |

Ordered mine today. Dealer said to expect it in about 5 weeks. He has 6 that are allocated to him.

From my experience the suggestions you are getting here are right-on. My delaer (Go Chevrolet in Denver) told me they were entering orders for the week of 10/12 when I ordered on 9/11. My car was finished and shipped on 10/15 and was delivered to the dealer on 10/26.
In the northern states, there are apparently cars on the lots. Dealers from other areas (those on this forum and others, like Go Chevy) can place orders with their open allocations for drop shipment near you, I believe. No need to accept either a long wait or an over-MSRP price. The shortage of cars and longs waits appear to be very regional. My suggestion...pick the exact configuration you want then let a good dealer either find it or have it built for you. You will love this car.
