Blank Screen on Radio

Got in the car this morning, 30 deg outside, and the radio screen was blank. The radio was playing but I could not see anything.

Got in the car after work, 68 deg outside, and the screen was working with no problems.

Has anyone seen anything like this? What would cause this?

My only thought is the cold caused something not to work. Bringing it to the dealer tomorrow to have them look at it.

Thanks for the help ahead of time.

Mine will do this when I am using the USB. It will just go blank after using the menu/select/back buttons. Does not sound like the same problem though. This was when you were listen to just the radio right?

Yes. Started up the car, radio is on but the screen is just blank. Never seen this before (only have had the car a week).

Mine has done it 3 times. Every time it has been in the 30's.
Thing is I have only had 3 mornings that it has been in the 30's.
As soon as it gets cold and stays there long enough I will take it in to the dealer. http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showthread.php?t=48186

Come to think of it I've had this happen when I used my iPhone via USB - would lose USB connection - I'll hear a semi-loud "thump" through the speakers then the screen goes blank - happened in all temperatures. Once I went to the 5th gen iPod nano only happened once when the nano needed to be reset for whatever reason.

I've not had any cold temp-related issues...

JBSRACE1 Mine has done the same thing as you have pictured. Please let me know if you/your dealer figures out what it is and how to fix it. My dealer told me to see if it happens again and they will look at it.
