Volant CAI
Just wondering if anyone has bought the CAI from volant yet. I had one years ago on my 03 silverado ss and I thought the fit and over all quality was great but I havent heard of anyone using it on the camaro yet. I am leaning towards this intake right now but I just can't decide. Here is the link for it http://www.volant-intakes.com/
thanks guys

I am curious about the volant as well. I see some old posts about them, but no testimonials have showed so far. Anyone have any experience with the volant intake?
I'm leaning towards the CAI kit based on looks and the Jannety racing comparison, but I love the powercore filter. I have a volant with the powercore on my 07 silverado and I have been impressed. |

I saw this intake at the SEMA show and talked to the owner. To me this seemed to be the best designed box of the group. The filter is awesome and it is a truly sealed box, not just a wall, but I have not purchased it yet.

From what I know about the GTO's the volant performance is a great fitting and looking cold air intake. As for power wise it didn't make much a difference. GTO owners often said they gained 10hp when they removed the lid of the box.

I like the looks of that CAI, it even matches the engine covers...that's pretty cool.

My local chevy dealer is selling these for $575 w/install.
He said 12 hp increase at the flywheel...not sure what that means, but thought I would pass that on.

2011 Camaro LS Volant CAI
Hello, I just purchased the Volant CAI for my 2011 Camaro LS V-6. It was a easy install and looks amazing. They are saying that it adds 22HP but not sure about that. Here is a picture of mine installed.

Not digging it. I think I like the looks/performance of the Cold Air Inductions more. Especially putting the scoop on it and getting 18 hp more at the wheels. Test was conducted by Jannetty Racing.
