Borla Install Video and Sound Comparison

We installed the Borla (140280) Catback Exhaust system on my buddies 2010 SS Camaro and documented the install, complete with a sound comparison to the stock system(at the end of the video). Thought you guys might like to see the installation along with hear the sound. I must say that I was a little concerned that the aggressive system would be too loud, but heck no...it was actually perfect. After hearing hearing the Borla Aggressive Camaro Exhaust I think the Borla Camaro Touring system might not be different enough from stock to make a difference.

The difference with the aggressive system was unbelievable and worth every penny....I do not understand why GM does not make the Camaro as OEM with this system? The stock exhaust is just too damn docile (in my opinion).

Anyway, the video is located below.....I also have 10 systems in stock and tried to price them as competitive as possible (just in case anyone is in need of an early Christmas present )

Borla 2010 Camaro Exhaust System

We have a ton of other Camaro Exhaust Systems if the Borla does not float your boat (although if you hear it in person you will be a believer )

Thanks,

Jim

We just installed our second set of the aggressive Borlas. Great sound!! That's what a Camaro should sound like. Buy them you won't be sorry.

Was this black car in the video an automatic ?

I got an automatic and im curious what its going to sound like with the S type Borla's.

However im also adding ARH and I purchased a catted system along with the offroad connection pipes so I can run No cats during the year and at inspection time install my cats.

Hopefully it will sound awsome.

I was hoping that the Borla aggressive was going to be real loud, I am still undecided on which exhaust to go with.

I have lost count how many times I have asked this question. Seems to be a thread killer.

Any performance system will get a little louder with age,but from my experiences on lots of cars, loud gets old and annoying after awhile, you might look at MBRP,their systems are nice and can be pretty aggressive...but,it takes awhile to get broke in.

Not sure if its available yet but ,Bassani is a great builder too....expensive....but real quality stuff with a great sound,I have it on my cobra and Lightning.

Here ya go..it is ready....this is for me.........http://www.bassani.com/new_products.php?product=1

Jim at Southern Car parts:

With the Borla "S" cat back I have been told by several folks that they have a small amount of drone at 70-80mph in 6th gear upon lite acceleration. Have you noticed this to be true? Any drone at all? I am torn between Borla S cat back and Corsa cat back. I love the deep sound of the Borla but do travel a bit and the highway drone would annoy me to death. The Corsa sounds ok, a bit louder and more raspy, not bad. I would lean to Corsa due to drone but based on 100's of hours of you tube listening (wife getting really tired of it), the deep Borla's sound sweet!
Address the Borla drone issue please...
Nice install video too!

From my experience ,it is possible on any performance system to have sum drone ,but lots of times it can be avoided by changing rpm just a little....it can be in certain ranges where a hundred or two rpm makes it quit.

I just did mine last week on jackstands by myself. I did the complete exhaust from headers to mufflers. This was the easiest exhaust I've ever done. It only took me about 3 hours to do the whole thing by myself. This system is pretty loud with the headers and no cats...just what I was looking for.
