If you aren't tuned it might be worth grabbing some O2 defoulers for the rear O2 sensors.

No tunes done on the vehicle as of yet . Just bolts ons.solo catback , K&N typhoon CAI. , will have ported 72 mm TB , and vitesse throttle controller . I heard that installing the O2 extensions on the downpipes w/ cats prevents the CEL . I am not sure what the O2 defoulers are ?

They're just a threaded extension of the O2 sensors. You can probably just google them, I think? They're easy to put your hands on. And you shouldn't need anything special (I'm pretty sure they make 90 degree defoulers also, unnecessary)

I bought the O2 extensions from big daddies garage. They have an angled one, a straight one, and a mini cat extender. The two first ones are just extenders that pull the sensor out of the direct flow of exhaust. The third one has actual catalytic converter material between the exhaust and the sensor to trick it into thinking a cat is still in place.

The normal extensions were cheap and that's what I used on my ARH high flows. Works great and no cel after a few months and probably 700 miles. The ones with cat material are 100 for two so much more expensive but are a safer bet for keeping the cel light off.

No problem at all!

I have the exact same thing, ARH pipes with high flow cats. I only have the straight extenders and no cel. So you'll probably be fine with the normal straight ones. If you had the extra cash lying around I'd go for the mini cat ones since you're almost guaranteed no check engine light. But after spending 500 on the pipes I didn't want to spend the extra cash so I went for the basic ones. But like I said no problem with them.

I’m sure you’re already aware, but just throwing it out there that technically you really don’t need any additions to prevent a CEL from catted downpipes. Although it’s flowing more freely, there is still a cat in place. It doesn’t hurt to have those mini cats or anything, but not really needed. It is still possible to get a CEL with the catted but from what I have seen it’s really rare.

Also as far as tuning goes, it will be able to clear and make sure you never get a CEL. You also will get the full potential of your car and mods. It may not be something you’re considering now, but is very useful to have.
