Vid/pic of my '14 Blue Ray 2LT vert RS
Hey all, I recently acquired a '14 vert! Check out the link below to my cheesy YT vid where I ride around listening to Xmas music and comparing it to my old '97 Mystic Teal Z/28. I had bought my '97 new (see pic below) but then I had a kid a couple years later and traded it in for an SUV - ugh! Fast forward 18 years later and my son is headed off to college so I figured it was time for me to get another Camaro convertible - LOL.
My '14 has got just over 50K miles and has a few blemishes but overall I couldn't be happier. It feels so great to have a Camaro back in my garage again after all these years - I drove it to work this morning with the top down and it makes my commute so much more enjoyable! I look forward to participating on and learning from the collective minds of this great forum |

Congratulations on your 2014 convertible! I know the feeling because I purchased a 2014 on April 13, 2017. To this day I am so pleased with the vehicle as you are. I was extremely fortunate I found a one owner 2LT/RS with just over 4,000 miles and was show room condition. I told myself that I would not tear her all apart and sink tens of thousands of dollars in her because she was near perfect to me.
I did make a few changes, I added the "Sport Bar" so that she would have more definition when the top was down, also got the wind screen which makes a world of difference. Had "RS" sewn into the headrests. Added the Brembo calipers/rotors/lines, after I had them powder coated. And lastly I just installed an Elite Engineering E2-X catch can kit. I have one other set of wheels so that I can change the look every now and then, but this is the last of the modifications for me. I am so happy, every time I drive her I can't believe she is mine. I'll add a couple of pictures so you can get an ideal of what the changes look like. Again, congratulations my friend. Larry

Welcome TC! Beautiful vert you go there!
I have a soft spot for convertibles ever since I rented a 2015 RS V6 convertible.

Thanks Larry, I like those mods to your car! First thing I should probably do is get some decent tires - the dealer had put some new Ironman tires on - never even heard of this brand and can barely find any info about them.

Thanks for the compliments everyone.
Yeah I love how parts of it can turn kind of a steel blue when the sun hits: |

I installed the Elite Engineering E2-X Catch Can with the Clean-Side Oil Separator. The can came with three ports, one is what they call the dirty side (line from the passenger rear PCV to the center of the can. The other two are clean side ports, one goes directly to the center of the intake where the passenger PCV originally went. The second I had to install an elbow in front of the throttle body tubing. Directions from Elite are not that great, their product is the best there is. I finally figured it out and now I am a "master" at this.
