2013 zl1 noise

Sound is impossible to record as it's random and happend twice in 2 months. I have a tight parking spot and there's a lot of Drive, Reverse, Drive, Reserve going on. The best way I can explain the noise is it sounds like I hit a curb as I go into reverse or drive after a few back and forth movements. If possible, please help me narrow the noise down

You need to get the car in the air to check for possible excessive play in the differential or one of your half shafts. If it isn't any of those items it could be a transmission problem. The left rear knuckle was worn on my 15 2SS and it had to be replaced because it was clunking occasionally. Good luck.

Alright, I'll get it to the dealer see what they say. The sound isn't a clunking,it's just a thud that randomly occurs only when parking. My main concern is that it happens so rare. If it's not one of the shafts, I doubt theyd be digging through the tranny when the dealerships here can't even warranty my exhaust for a different problem. Thanks for the info!
