Love my new Solo exhaust
Sure, there have been a ton of threads and posts about exhausts... my post isn't anything of a revelation, but just a simple point of view. My car is a 2014 Camaro SS M6. I have no mods. It came from the factory with the dual mode NPP exhaust. When I first got the car I felt the exhaust sounded pretty good, but over time I came to the conclusion it was overly loud and un-refined, and had become annoying. I heard other cars, and other camaros, with much better sounding exhausts, not necessairly loud, but just better sounding. I watched all the videos and listened to sound clips of all kinds of exhaust setups for the camaro, and it is really difficult to really get a good idea of the true sound, but finally I decided to order the Solo cat-back MACH-XC exhaust. It is slightly quieter than the stock NPP, but the sound is incredible!!!!!!!!!!!! At idle, a little deeper (don't interpret that as louder)...through the revs, the sound it hypnotizingly beautiful. Never harsh, just smooth beautiful sound. It can't really be explained, you have to experience it. And their never is any drone. Before, I had somewhat lost a little interest in the car just due to what I felt was an annoying exhaust. NOW I can't get enough of this car. It is truly transformed. And maybe my imagination, but I swear the engine runs better. Thank you Solo!!!!!!

Exhaust is one of those things were opinions are all over the spectrum. But as long as you are happy, thats all that matters.

Same here. I got in on the Solo early buy promotion 7 years ago. Love the
sound of my '10 SS L99. Muffler delete and no drone.

Hi, I don't have videos or audio. Honestly this is nearly impossible to convey unless experiencing it in person. I have listened to youtube and video/audio clips on this forum and never have they been close to what it is like in person in the car. I had considered going to some local car clubs to hear what others had done and listen first-hand, but decided just to go for it.

I do know that many fellow Camaro lovers would think this setup is tame. I think that is the beauty of where we live and our freedoms of expression.

I'm VERY interested, but have questions about the Solo axle-back:
Did any of you install it yourself? If so, can it be done without a lift? (i.e. just raising the rear end up on a couple of jackstands) |

I installed my full catback by myself with rhino ramps. Actually, I'm yet to install any of my mods with a lift. You should be fine with a jack and stands or ramps.

I just put the Corsa Xtreme on in late fall. Ive haf a few combos buy havnt loved any. If you really like the sound of your car thats all that matters. After my Corsa ...like you I find it perfect.....will be even better once longtubes are on.We are lucky that do many different systems sound good on our cars...gives us choices.
