SLP ZL575 CAMARO TESTED
Just saw the SLP on motorweek on the local pbs station, it was the prototype pilot car.
60-0.....110' 0-60.....3.8 1/4.......11.8@121 mph Top speed...190+ mph Base price...$57,000+ It had an upgraded lowered suspension and upgraded brembo 6 piston caliper brake system. It looks to be the same car that was posted here in the slp thread. This episode will re-air Sat. on speed channel @ 0700 eastern time zone. |

Sweet #s!
better performance #s than a base Vette for about the same or less price--and so much cooler than a base Vette. $57K is an absolute bargain for performance like that.

When they tested the SS they ran a 4.9 or 5.0 0-60, so this car should be able to run a couple ticks faster still. And they had this car in the background durring one of the segments on the SS so I bet they were tested the same day by the same drivers. Also, those times were on the stock tires. Drag radials are availible.
