Sun Roof OR Not?? - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Maybe everyone already noticed this and im just dumb, but I looked at two Camaros side by side when I ordered mine and noticed the diffrent roof line.

I think the sunroof is nice to have but takes away from the flow of the body from the hood up to the roof and over. The hood is raised in the center and the roof dips down in the center w/o the sunroof.

Anyway, I wouldnt even have given it a second thought before ordering if I had not looked it over (for those who have not bought yet).

I guess what im trying to say here is that the sun roof takes away from the body of the car and costs I think about a 1000K extra. Something to consider.

I had a sunroof in my old car and I don't miss it at all. I love the look of the reverse Mohawk.

I really like the lines of the roof, but I gotta have that portal to the sky man. And since T-tops are out of the question...

my wife told me it had to have a sunroof.
although I miss those roof curves...I'm cool with it.
And my sunroof is always open when I drive it.

Speaking from personal experience, if you are looking to upgrade the HP bigtime, then I wouldnt go with the sunroof. Just one thing less to worry about!

I also looked at two cars at the same time at my dealer and once i noticed the roofline it was all over for the sunroof! I probably would have never used it anyways. The roofline without the sunroof compliments the styling of the car much better IMO.

Every Camaro I've owned since my first '83 Z28 had T-tops. That meant a sunroof for me and the weekends have been great thus far with it open!
