Delivery Question - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Dealer was trying to trade for a camaro i wanted a couple hours away but couldn't get it. So i tried to buy it from the dealer that had it but they wont let it go for under the 5k markup so i decided to order. I qualify for the credit union supplier pricing and my dealer said he would honor it but said he doesn't think it will make it here before the December 31st deadline and doesn't know if GM will still offer the discount in the new year. Do you guys think it would get here in time if i ordered next week? And do you think GM will change the credit union offer in January. Thanks for the help.

IF you order it now, the chances of getting it before Dec 31st are SLIM, but not impossible.

For the credit union discount (supplier pricing) It says you must take delivery before 12/31/09 to be eligible.

I don't think there will be nothing available when these all expire. I am sure there will be something coming.

The year is winding down quick. I doubt even the great dealers on the forum would be able to get it in time with holidays and all thrown in the mix.

They will most likely extend it! They almost always do, plus even if you don't get it it is better then paying 5k over sticker.

Talk to Becky D (Michigan) or Camaro Scotty(Wisconsin).... Take something out of their Inventory or place an order, they both i believe have open allocations to get your car before Christmas. They will arrange shipping or help you from the airport to their dealership so you can drive your new baby home.

It's a model made before catalytic converters so it'll run good on regular gas. What do you say, is it the new Bluesmobile or what?
