I was 14.5 with br7es at. 025, just trying to prepare for a retune and swap if needed. I didnt wanna go smaller on the gap on the br7es when technically a br8es with a bigger gap would be better. For some reason i believe there is such a thing as gap too small cant be good. I was thinking br8es and maybe about. 28-.32 for starters

I asked my tuner, went with these

http://www.camaro5.com/forums/showpo...postcount=1183

416 stroker, 10.5 compression, everything ported so it breathes very well, 2.45/9.17 pulley combo. E85 and 13.5 PSI...

Br7ef have been used to over 20psi and 1000whp don't need an 8 unless doing more imo. I run them with the gap right out the box just verify they are all the same

Br7ef is only good for 15 psi max, usually any tuner will say that and if you going over 15 then that gap is small as hell why not go to the next range to have the widest gap possible, i would think the wider the gap the better the performance, gas mileage, and idle

Non resister and geared more for racing. Ryan likes them and he feels they work better with a higher boosted engine (besides less chance of spark blow-out since they are not extended tips).

Since I track my car, running a bigger pulley combo, run at higher RPM (due to road racing), he felt these would give me what I needed for tracking a higher boosted engine. These were tailored to my usage/engine setup. I’ve had 0 issues, no knock/detonation and I do drive on the street a lot.

There are other reasons, but those were why we went with those for my application.

FYI, no noise interference with the non resistor plugs...
