Header recommendations please
So, basically since day 1, I’ve been thinking about getting TSP 2” LT’s. However, I just discovered Speed Engineering, and although it looks like they only have 1 7/8”, it’s very hard to pass them up for the price. Anyone have any opinions on the two?

Both work fine. There are tons of members running both brands with zero issues. ....so either way you can't go wrong.

If it wasn't for me wanting cats & ceramic coating, I probably would've gone with the SE headers. If that's stuff you're interested in as well, RDP has a great bundle deal on the Stainless Power brand with an SCT tuner and lifetime tunes. Especially if they still have their 10% off deal going on.
Edit: Nm, just saw you already have the tuner.

Any significant difference in gains between the 2” and the 1 7/8”? I’m assuming the 2” will be a little louder/deeper and can get some more power out of them, which is why I’m leaning that way.

Do you want 2" or 1 7/8" headers? Do you want/need cats or are you planing on running off-road pipes? If you're not set on 2" pipes and cats don't matter then go with Speed Engineering. If you want/need cats and/or 2" pipes are important go with Texas Speed. Just remember to purchase different clamps when you buy your Speed Engineering headers as the ones that cone with the set are junk.

I have the 2inch TSPs. I had zero regrets going with them NA. Actually made 502/445 with just a cam and bolt ons on a mustang dyno. I didn't experience a loss of any kind what so ever.
and now that I'm supercharged, I'm extremely happy I went 2inch before. The price is the same, right? The only downside is sometime when turning into the driveway the steering column knuckle taps the header. But when I pop the hood and see those fattys in there, it makes me smile and I forget about that driveway turn. I would stay 1 7/8 unless you plan on a 3inch exhaust, and no cats. otherwise, kinda pointless to go 2inch

Have Had Speed Engineering 1 7/8 for a while now and they work great! My L99 made 370 Wheel and 389TQ with CAI intake & a Tune.
Best Bang for your buck out there!

2" headers offer no I'll effects on our cars. They gain everywhere over 1.875". However, I too can vouch that SE are literally the best bang for the buck headers period. Great fit, low price and the gains are worth it. Look in my sig if you wanna know how well they work.
