Which forged pistons and rods?

Engine: LS3
Transmission: M6
Mods: BTR Stage 4 Cam w/ supporting mods (chain, trunion kit, oil pulp, etc.)
Straight Pipe headers back
Stock headers
Nitrous Outlet wet kit 150 shot

Cracked a piston after cam installation so I’m looking for some suggestions, my machine shop guy said to go with Wiseco pistons, and they are going do a valve job along with forged pistons, bearings, rods, and rings.

Thanks guys.

I just did Wiseco pistons with the HD wrist pin upgrade, Callies Compstar H beam rods, and ARP main/head studs to go along with those. For comparison, mine is seeing boost from two 62mm turbo's, and I have absolute confidence in it until 18psi or so. My engine guy set it up for 20psi but honestly at that point I still would worry more about the factory cylinder sleeves and core shift, before I would worry about the rods and pistons. I didn't see any point in stronger rods in a factory block scenario. My 2c

CompStar is popular.
Even Eagle and Scat will do well.
I like CP and Mahle pistons.

Molnar makes many products also others label as theirs...... I went molnar crank and rods and racetec pistons . If your going forged you might as well stroke it and get torque, and that requires a modding for the windage tray or a mast windage tray and modding it, also clearancing for the rods and etc....

4" stroke in a stock sleeved ls motor is a bad idea imo. Shorter piston compression height coupled with pulling the piston out of the sleeve farther usually results in excessive piston rocking and skirt wear. It works, but is not going to be as long lived as a shorter stroke. Just my .02.
