Track Day Christmas Gift - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

Howdy,

I am looking for someone in Texas that teaches performance driving on a track type situation. I would prefer a more or less central Texas location, Austin, Houston, or maybe Dallas, but would drive further if needed. I would really prefer the instructor to be a member of or affiliated with Camaro5... They understand...

Here is what I want to do. I want to spend a day or two, with my dad, getting instructions and taking trips around the track. Obviously not at the same time, but with the instructor working with both of us. Dad gets a turn, I get a turn etc... I'm hoping for a pretty wide open track as I don't want to ooops my my Camaro into a wall.

Anyone that has info to offer is greatly appreciated. I would like to give notification of this to my dad for a Christmas Gift... He has a 67 Firebird he has been restoring forever, and I know when he finds out I have Brandi, (my camaro) he is is gonna freak. Nope, he doesn't know yet...

Great idea for a gift! Now I want to do this for for my father.

I will need to find a track/instructor in the PA/DE/MD area for us though. He has a Z06 and I will soon have my 2SS, Now that would be a great day

And congrats on getting "Brandi".
