P0556 code advice - Camaro5 Chevy Camaro Forum / Camaro ZL1, SS and V6 Forums

So I searched the forum for advice with this code and I can't seem to find someone having the issues I am . Well a while ago my brakes started to be real spongy and I can't stop as strong as I use too .my check engine light came on and I use the diagnostic too and this code came up. This is for brake booster pressure sensor circuit range/performance. I thought it had to be my pads or rotors but the shop is saying that my pads and rotors are fine. I'm taking the care to the dealer Thursday does anybody have any idea what it could be like is it the sensor or broken hose maybe and how much am I looking at to fix ?
