Automatic Shifter making Noise??? Fix

Recently my Auto Shifter plastic track began making news. Crackling...we've all heard those noises. Well this was annoying as hell. Every time I sped up or slowed down that crackling news felt like nails on a chalkboard. I searched the forum and really couldn't find much by way of a fix, especially for the automatic track. I cleaned it, I took it apart and nothing worked. Than I found this stuff. Dry lubricant with teflon. There are several different types of Dry lubes out there but I thought the Teflon would work well on the plastic and it wouldn't stain or discolor it. Sprayed it into the track carefully and underneath the edges. Once a powder formed, I wiped away clean with interior cleaner. (I know there is some residue still in pic..that's been cleaned) Took it our for a test drive, over speed bumps, accelerated, decelerated. NOISE GONE! Holy shit it worked. Finally a win! And on the first try no less. Rare in my case. Anyway, I thought I'd post. Heres a pic of the Spray. If I helped one person than my job is done.
