KW Suspension install

So, I installed the KW V3 suspension everything is fine except that I have a gap, under the hood where the struts come up. When you see the pic you will understand better, I just want to know if this is normal since its my first suspension install ever and no one local can really help me out. However the suspension is great! (I have a 2014 Camaro SS my future goal is to make this car one of a kind.)

That is normal, that is just how the suspension is designed. I had the same concern after my install.

P.S. I have been driving it already over 100 miles per hour, when I go on a steep hill on left or right it makes a clunk noise, but I am assuming since I have lowered it and increased the bump and rebound for the Nurburgring that is putting a lot of pressure considering these cars are not the lightest in the front.

Thank you for your reply, you don't know how much weight you just removed from my shoulders. Awesome!

With that gap, what does it look like when you jack the car up and remove the weight from the suspension? it doesn't seem right??

the gap is normal for our cars:
The gap is on all of our cars because it is needed when turning the steering wheel
