For those who changed their bowtie chevy emblems did you guys buy the official one from chevymall or get a cheaper decal one that you can get for ebay? does the decal one look good or really cheap? trying to decide if I should get the cheaper one cuz I really don't wanna spend $135 on it

black vinyl is almost nothing in cost and on black it is awesome

Tried vinyl....was'nt happy. Had dealer paint & clearcoat both bowties to match body color. I have not picked it up yet so i dont have a price.

I had my dealer paint mine since nobody makes a red outside/black center bowtie.

They ordered new bowites and painted those, $100 each. So I still have the originals if I ever want to put them back.

I purchase both the front/rear bowties and also both camaro emblems on either side for under $90 from my local dealership just to have some spares.

Then my neighbor took the new bowties and had them painted red to match the car at a local body shop he worked at free of charge. I kept the ones of the car original cause I am anal and replaced them with the red ones.
