Hearing but not feeling a Vibration

Anyone with experience or thoughts on the following?

I have a 2014 2LT RS that I purchased used last year that is equipped with 20" Pirelli Pzero's.

Between 55-60 km/h (35-37 mph) I hear a vibration coming from the back end. I do not feel the vibration in the wheel or through the seats or floor. It just sounds like a rapid tapping sound. Below or above those speeds, nothing.

It seems to take a while of driving, once the car is warm before I notice it.

I swapped the tires to blizzaks on steel rims for the winter and had the same issue. So I'm ruling out the tires.

Any and all feedback would be greatly appreciated,

Here's to finally some good driving weather in Southern Ontario!

Could it be a heat shield. Is it a tin type of sound or something deeper?

Have you touched the exhaust at all?

Did you check the tires? Maybe something is stuck on the tire.

Your speed range is too low for tire induced vibration. Besides, you have swapped tires with no improvement.

A sound that starts when the engine warms up could be exhaust related, like a very small leak. You do seem to be describing a sound rather than a vibration. But can you hear it when revving the engine in neutral?

If not, then I would be suspecting bearings or brakes...the part about needing to warm up is puzzling, though.

Another crazy one that I've heard of before is a label on the drive shaft coming loose and flapping. Seriously.

I tried revving in neutral...nothing. I took her out this morning and heard nothing until I drove for a while...the warm up has me stumped as well. I guess I may have to take her in.
