Refinishing calipers. My project for the last two weeks
So between starting this project with them already on the car, not getting the old paint off, the paint fish eyeing, and bubbling, I eventually just pulled the calipers. Took all the old seals off and rebuild the calipers with all new Carlson seals from rock auto. Before the new seals I soaked the calipers in aircraft grade paint stripper and wire brushed. Now for some pictures highlighting the process
Also in case anyone was wondering the name of that blue, it’s called FORD blue. I’m sure there’s irony somewhere in there haha |

I didn't think I would like them blue but on the car the blue looks great with the black car.

Here’s my set I got powder coated. I Like the color, it really pops! I get many compliments.

Yeah bad choice on paint "FORD" ? i would not trust that to keep my brakes rust proof or in working condition with the name ford blue, you know what you hear about fords right? They die out on the road.
