Help with Boost Gauge and Blow Off valve vacuum
So I have a Kraftwerks supercharger that I installed. From their instructions, I cut the vacuum line on the drivers side of the throttle body and put in a T to the blow off valve. I placed another T there for the boost gauge and noticed I am not getting much boost. Like 3.5 PSI at 6000 and it makes boost very late. Where is and how is everyone putting their boost gauges in. I will be checking for boost leaks checking the blow off valve, but Kraftwerks has mentioned that maybe I want to put the gauge somewhere else too. Any ideas? Kraftwerks also says between 5 and 7 PSI is normal so I feel I may be short. I will also test with another boost gauge to be sure of what I am seeing. Eliminate the easy first.

Are you running that from the one vacuum line? Do you have any pictures? Maybe it doesnt matter that they are on the same leg. I was just wondering what others have been doing if they have seen the same issues.

OK I will move on to trouble shooting then. Look again for boost leaks check the gauge and vacuum line with another gauge. All of that fun stuff.

Krapwerks sent me the wrong blower in my kit, they sent me a c38-81 never made more than 1.9pounds of boost at 6300rpm costing me dyno tune time/money. Make sure you got the c38-91/92 even then I'm barely making 4.5 pounds of boost. I checked everything out & I have no leaks

What did you make for HP and what are your mods. They advertise 600 crank which to me should be about 525 RWHP. I havent got it on the dyno yet but I am not seeing the boost like it sounds like you arent. I will be testing the gauge the vacuum line checking for boost leaks. They also say between 5 and 7 PSI, but it seems like 5 would be a reasonable amount.

I’m surprised theses kits actually sell with the small blower they come with at the same price as an ecs kit?

No pictures on this phone. But it's a Vibrant block. Running it off the brake booster.

My kit was very affordable but I wished I had talked to Jannetty before buying it I may have gone with the smaller pulley larger injectors and been more of what I expected.
