Exclamation what is the solution for peeling rally stripe decals?

I have a 2010 ss. Just recently noticed small chips/peeling in the rally stripes and im wondering if there is any type of adhesive out there that will help repair this without risking damage to the paint finish. Help.

Any suggestions are appreciated.
Called the dealership & asked about this & they were of very little help. Autozone suggested some crap adhesive that really wasnt meant solely for decaying decals and the product may risk paint damage so I passed.
Im disappointed.. I honestly thought them stripes were painted on when I bought the vehicle. Lbvs

Have you thought about replacing the decals?

They are not that bad just yet. No point in replacing the entire thing if it isnt terribly bad yet.

Maybe carefully cut off the peeling part and then cover it up with a small decal of the same color? It wouldn’t look perfect, but it’s better than having a peeling decal.

Looking at it I can only think of two options, the first of which is to replace the entire strip with a new one, as already mentioned. The second would be to find some pin striping the same color and width as the section where it's peeling. Cut and remove a 1-1.5 inch section of the original portion where it's peeling; cut and replace the removed section with the pin stripping.

Those look like aftermarket stripes. The factory (or dealer option) stripes did not come down on the nose. A stripe or decal guy should be able to fix that.

I would just corresponding width pieces of white vinyl and put them where it is peeling up. Only other option would be to replace with new stripes.

Oh wow.. I never really noticed that alot of camaros with the stripes do not come down past the front. My dad suggested super glue, but idk if that will affect the paint.

Take it to a good quality detailer. They will have solid solutions that will look professional because they ARE professional. It all depends on how you want it to look. Do you want it to look half-assed? Then apply some make-shift remedy. If you want it to look great, take it to an expert. Money well spent, as you wouldn't be posting on here if you didn't care.

Do not use superglue, you will ruin the paint forever.

3m eraser wheel will take off the stripes but that is a lot of work.

Run it till you can't stand it and take it to a accessory place or decal place and have them replaced.
Dealerships normally farm them out anyway.
Being aftermarket has nothing to do with it. They will all go bad.

its pretty easy, i used a heat gun.

8 year old stripes - zero ghosting -but lines at the edges from years of waxing.

after a few months of polishing they are hard to detect, if at all.
