Might be because the pieces that install to the quarter panel are bolted in. So taking them off would leave holes in your quarter panel.

There’s a few on eBay new, search Blade spoiler. With the two quarter panel pieces you have the choice to remove the bolts & leave them with the OEM doubleside tape on. Which holds just fine. I really like my spoiler.
