Unlike other tuners on the market, one big advantage of the Superchips tuner is that it supports tuning the transmission computer in the L99 cars. One thing we found in the auto G8's is that a good trans tune is worth almost as much as a good engine tune in terms of increased drivability. The same applies to the Camaro.

Other key features in the Camaro Flashpaq include enhanced ‘power on demand’ throttle response, superior drivability, Active Fuel Management on/off, wide open throttle shift point adjustments, speed limiter adjustment, RPM limiter adjustment, diagnostic scan tool, real-time in-cabin vehicle sensor display, and professional data acquisition software for measuring vehicle performance including 0-60 MPH and ¼-mile times.

The Camaro Flashpaq includes 93-Octane and 91-Octane Performance tunes delivering up to 21.0 horsepower and 21.0 lbs-ft of torque for the automatic model and 19.9 horsepower and 18.3 lbs-ft of torque for the manual transmission.

Lastly, unlike other tuners, the Superchips tuners include all cables needed to connect the product to your computer and car.

now whats the differ between the diablo and this? i know the diablo u can down load tunes customed for your car-

Superchips supports custom tunes also. The big difference is the Superchips supports tuning on the A6, where Diablo does not.

I bought a Superchips Flashpaq and tried to use it but it says my VIN is not supported and they would upload my info and let me know via e-mail. It's been 2 weeks and not a word.

Does the Diablo work for the manual 6? The Superchips doesn't...

As of right now the Cortex does not support the Camaro, only the limited edition tuner we are selling.

They are similar products from competing companies. We don't sell Vector tuning so I can't compare.

Can ANYBODY make heads or tails of this statement? I'm trying to figure out if the opinions are favorable (or not) on the Superchips tuner. Goddang; what's wrong with using a little punctuation? The American public education system is deplorable.

Bottom line is if you do NOT require tuning beyond what is on this handheld then it could fit your needs. If you think you may need changes to your tune due to future mods then Diablo, HPtuners, Vectortune, pcmforless would be the way to go.
