Info Requested / BFG g-Force COMP-2 A/S

any of you guys running these tires on your Camaro? waiting to get my new MRR wheels and i will have to upgrade my rear tires. I primarily use my ss to travel back and forth to Houston, TX to visit my baby and my new grandson. These tires have a 45k tread warranty and from what i have read are a good all weather tire and are pretty reasonably priced.

Just for information purposes, getting a set of 305's, i will never race the car or track it..to old for that stuff and its not a daily driver.

any info and recommendations would really help.

Thanks,

Loop

Hey. I happen to have those

Fantastic tire. Quiet and offer a great ride.
As soon as I put them on I felt they gave improved traction over the stock goodyear's.
The stock goodyear's were always slipping unless they got nice and warm. And were not very inspiring when wet.
The BFGs are the complete opposite. Great traction as soon as you pull out of the driveway and noticeably increased traction and control when wet.
Also living way up here they performed excellent when cold.
Never a concern when driving at the freezing point, I drive with them during the winter. Moderate snowfalls with appropriate driving is a snap. Heavy snowfall got a little interesting. Bit I dont think that will be a concern.
I only have about 8K on mine and no signs of excessive wear, they are holding out pretty good.

Cheers

I have the same tires on my car.. tires are decent to daily drive but performance wise not really. I would recommend these tires if you drive a lot and just need daily set. I tried to launch with these tires and won’t hook. So far 10k miles and tires seem brand new .

I ran these on my 15 Mustang GT/PP and will ahve them on my Camaro if I can find an acceptable wheel to put them on.
I never had a problem with them thru fall and winter, though I just don't drive it if there's snow on the ground, but feel I could in a dusting up to .5" or something but I just stay home if that's the case. In TX you may never have to deal with the snow. I remember some snow a few times when living North of you in Wichita Falls.
All temps...fabulous tire. Rain...no problem. Drove them hard in the summer and they'll give up but will surprise you for a UHP A/S tire in what they can deliver in hot and dry conditions.

The only minor grumble is the sidewall is blocky and very stout looking compared to some others.

thanks guys,

thats exactly what i was looking for. last winter driving back from houston (at night) a few times it was in the mid 30's, rainy and the drive was quite interesting....even at 60mph. going to jump on these in the next few weeks whenever the wheels get here.

I've got a set in 285/305 waiting on MRR wheels as well. For the money, they appear to be a great tire.

Don't forget that staggered setup warranties are only half the regular warranty due to not being able to rotate the tires.

I have these. They do well in rainy weather and cold. Quiet and softer ride. Performance is very average though. Tread life is very good.

I have these on my 2013 Regal GS and I love them! They really make that car perform so much better. It came with Goodyear RSAs stock but they sucked. These are the tires that should have come with the Buick.

35 will rub in the rear. 30 will not.
