I used the stop-tech rotors and pads and never had any issues with them.Of course I don't race or track it.

If price doesn't matter then look at Wilwood, or StopTech. Im sure there's plenty other options available too. Sent from my SM-G955U using Tapatalk |

You can always do a Brembo conversion.

I went with the Power Stop Z23 ceramic pads & vented slotted rotors front & rear after installing them on a couple other cars. The best price I found was on EBay. Very happy with their performance.

Brembos off the SS or higher model Camaro. There's no V6 Brembo package. You convert to what the V8 models use.

I tried all kinds of pads for mine and was never that satisfied. I bought brand new 4 piston Brembo's for a Cadillac that are direct bolt on (around 150$ from ZZ Performance). They came with power stop brake pads, which I didn't like. I always use EBC red or yellow stuff now. I also bought some SS rear brakes from another member from this site. The stopping is much better, but still leaves a bit to be desired. My other car is a BMW Z4 with amazing brakes, so maybe I shouldn't compare to that car.

Personally I just replaced my brakes with Duralast max rotors and pads all around, and I felt like i was getting good OE brake performance.
That being said, about 3 weeks ago I stumbled upon a great deal on a set of brembos from a 2010 SS. The V6 stopping power is good, but this is a completely different feeling, and I wouldn't go back. |
