My dealer told me that the hid head lamps cost 850 dollars a piece[give or take a little like 825 or 875] That is 1700 for just the lights.

Personally I think the RS package is what makes the car .....

Yeah but after market will be/is much cheaper.

yeah for AFTERMARKET. you still get new tails and rims

Yeah if you think about it just the wheels and the headlights are like double what they charge for the RS package, I don't think it's a bad deal at all. I wouldn't have my car any other way!

Remember the RS Package is more than just HID headlights!

From GM's Site ... Total cost $1,450

Includes 20" x 8" front and 20" x 9" rear flangeless, painted aluminum wheels with Midnight Silver finish,
Body-color roof ditch molding,
High intensity discharge headlamps and
RS unique tail lamps.
Also includes rear spoiler.

In order to choose this feature, you have also to addWheels, 20" x 8" Front and 20" x 9" Rear Painted AluminumTires, P245/45R20 Front and P275/40R20 Rear, SummerHeadlamps,

Yea but, what does stink is you pay for the wheels twice if you get polished with the rs because they charge you extra on top of the rs package. Also the spoiler comes on the car any how if you get the SS and It's really hard to tell the diff in the tail lights. So hard that the factory was mixing them up for awhile. Really all your getting is HID, and roof ditch moldings color keyed if you get and SS. It's more of a value in the LT. You also get Red SS badge on the SS and just rs badges on the LT.
