Can you run these on SS 1" drop springs?

I don't know....seems like you would want to use the correct springs for the est performance |

I did run BMR 1" drop springs for a short time on my DSSv's. The DSSV's have less compression travel than the OE, non-Z/28 struts. So using the 1" drop springs will limit your travel. And since the DSSV's are tuned for the Z/28 springs, you may give up optimum performance by changing to a different spring.

We cant call them new, but lets say the where ones that never made them in to Z/28, we got them from GM at the end of the build of 5th gen car from the plant in Canada, same as the Z/28 rimes you where looking at.
P.S. if need be i can post some pics, i have one set here for my cars, and last week found one that was leaking in my car, time to replace it. |

Thanks - I would call those new! Was just wondering for price comparison to some of the take off's I thought your were new, and a great value at $1,200!
Interested that you had a leak - how many miles on the car - hard mile (track curbs etc.) or just normal use? Nice to have spares laying around for sure! Sorry the wheel deal didn't work out, really wish I had those. Thx for response and have a good week! |
