Pinging sound while car warms up after header install
Pinging sound while car warms up after header install.
I hear this sound of a bunch of small ticking / pinging sounds coming for the first 5 - 10 minutes my car is turned on. This started right after I installed Dynatech Headers. I have AFM/DOD turned off with a tune, but I'm still getting this pinging noise. Does anyone know how to fix this? |

Here are videos with audio of it happening. You can hear it in some of them, not in others. Hopefully this will help diagnose the problem:

Kinda sounds like a header leak. Did you reuse the original manifold gaskets? I've seen that recommended.
Check to see if all bolts are snug. Let it warm up then put some gloves on and get in there to check the bolts.
