Hoping for a little input

Alright guys finally heard back from the mechanic about my Z here is the updated list of mods. Im making 684rwhp and 698 torque, he noted that it leaned out some on the top end when WOT. Please let me know asap on the questions if ya could.

5th gen
Automatic
40k miles

Ls7 lifters
Kooks headers
X pipe
Magnaflow exhaust
Ported heads
Oil catch can
Roto fab CAI
Lingenfelter upper and lower pulleys
Msd plugs and wires

He said it has TR8 Spark plugs and would move to TR6 ones, would you aggree?

Mild cam due to the tune it is not as "noticeable" but could make it if i wanted.

He said he would recommend a tune clean up but every shop that didnt due the tune would say that wouldnt you think? they want $600 to do the tune and new dynos.

“Upgraded” fuel injectors They are not ID and he wanted to charge a but load to pull them and research what cc they were.

There is a brand new tranny in the car (it was overfilled by 4 quarts) so they leveled it off for me.

That is all that is currently listed

Please take note of no Aux fuel pump and no HX. What are yall thoughts on doing these? Are they really needed? I am about to drive this car 500 miles so wanted to to get yalls opinion.
Thank you so much in advance

sounds like an injector issue to me, I'm running ID150x on mine and I'm running a little lean and make 723whp. they might have "upgraded" the injectors but they could have run just one step higher which still wont be enough. spark plugs I'm not sure, maybe someone else would have a better input.
if this is the shop your going to continue to use if you continue to upgrade your car then why not spend a little extra cash and let them do their tuning because they still need to buy the unlock for your pcm to access it unless they already have it

So, I'd want to know why it's leaning out on top - is it out of injector, or out of pump? With the ability to tune the factory FPCM coming to HPTuners the need for a BAP or aux fuel get extended up to a little higher power level. For example, my buddy is making 770 with his ZL1 - ID1050s and a stock pump with a tuned FPCM - good safe AFR all the way out past 6500.

So, if you've got big injectors that aren't running out of duty cycle then you may need to get that FPCM dialed in (HPTuners didn't have that functionality until about 2yrs ago). And some times "big enough" injectors aren't really big enough if you are a little marginal on fuel pressure. For example, you might be able to make 700 with 850s on rock solid fuel pressure, but if it's starting to drop, they'll be out of duty in a hurry, where a 1050 can pick up some additional slack if the fuel pressure starts to dip.

Heat exchanger is always a good mod for an LSA car - if there is one downfall that powerplant has it's degrading performance under heat soak.
