Front shock mounts

I will be installing new shocks/struts and lowering springs soon and want to install new mounts for the shocks/struts but can't figure out what's needed for the fronts.

Looks like there is a front mount kit but I'm unsure if it includes everything. Part number is 22843712

Am I good ordering the above mount kit x 2 or is there a better/different way?

Do know the difference but GM (22802090) seems to be the same thing? Quite a bit cheaper in price.

That is just the mount so I think the "mount kit" includes other items but I don't know what.

Or you'd think more would be included given the price difference lol

I didn't replace anything on mine when I did the shocks at 80k. Didn't notice anything looking worn.

With the way that GM does parts sometimes, I wouldn't read to much into the cost difference. But if you add up all of the minor components (all but the spring and strut) shown on the struts & components diagram, it actually adds up to $77.22 on the site I'm looking at. If you want new parts I would just order the individual rubber parts and reuse metal parts and save a few bucks.

You make a good point. The rubber bits should be the only thing needing replacing

Thanks for the help and advice!
