2015 1LE baseline numbers
First post on the forum!
I picked up 2015 1LE summer 2018 and finally got some baseline numbers before starting to modify later this winter. The car is bone stock with 60k miles on it, has NPP exhaust from the factory, and running 93 octane. Did 2 pulls on the mustang dyno first one 375ft-lb and 389hp, second one 376ft-lb and 386hp. Graphs are attached if anyone is interested. |

Good to know. Wish I ran mine on the Dyno when it was stock.

I just got my 15 1LE back from the Dyno. I have a CAI intake and TSP LT headers (off road) and she pulled 440. I too have NPP. Was hoping to pass 450, but she’s still plenty fast for me.

Mine did 408 stock and 464 after mods in my sig. lots of debate whether numbers are correct. 50% say yes, 50% say no. I’m glad to see someone made 440 though so I’m not out in left field here

I was wondering. Stock, on a Mustang Dyno, those numbers are impressive.
I had mine on his dyno a few months back. With LT's, offroad X-pipe, NPP, CIA, ported throttle body, and a tune, mine made 401. However, I'll admit that the tune seems pretty conservative. (Whoever had the car before me did these mods. No idea who tuned it.) For what it's worth, a bone stock 392 Charger made 413 to the wheels on the run immediately after me. Apply the 15% rule, and that lines right up with the factory advertised 485hp. But I'm aware that there are a lot of factors at play, hear. Anything I could speculate on has a counter-speculation. Ultimately, dynos are tools for engine tuning, and not necessarily intended to be horsepower lie detectors. Though... it's still totally possible that the plant churned out an especially strong LS3 on the day that your car was being put together. |

Spot on on baseline, identical to my 13 1le on Dynojet
Ran it again yesterday, 412@ rear wheels with a z28 CAI and Bo ported my TB. Otherwise, bone stock.

I dyno'd mine last year, made 378 hp and 357 tq. It has NPP and at the time it was running 91, I'd like to redyno it to see what 93 and a tune from dynosteve does. I'm guessing not much but you never know

I baselined my 13 le at GPI and she did 407 hp and 397 tq with a CAI intake stock tune. And 489 hp and 441 tq after fbo

Yes those numbers are very hi. I don't think it's accurate mustang dyno reads high. With those mods you should be around 415 - 425 for manual transmission.

With just a CAI intake mine did 401/379 on Mustang dyno.
What’s interesting is I chatted on Facebook a while back with the owner of Cordes Performance up in Phoenix and he was actually trying to tell me that my numbers couldn’t be accurate because the average 1LE on his Dynojet was 315!! I’ve heard of numbers that low for a L99, but never for a LS3 1LE. It’s always been 370+. I didn’t even bother to argue with the guy, but he was clearly mistaken.
