I pose a question

I know by now we've all heard about GM possibly doing away with the Camaro again after 2023 along with multiple other models including the Impala. So that leaves me to wonder. Without the Camaro, what would Chevy put on the track for NASCAR? What do ya'll think?

I’ve had the same exact question in the back of my mind.

NASCAR has to give away tickets and remove seats from tracks, they will be going out with the Camaro

By the traditions of NASCAR, the Camaro never belonged on the circuit anyway. NASCAR forgot where it came from and has a product no one want anymore.

That’s not exactly historically correct, in the modern era, post ‘71ish to now, there haven’t been any Camaros until last year. They did run Camaros in the late 60’s for sure, I know Richard Childress drove one amongst others. I don’t think NASCAR is as dead as some think, I’ve been to a couple of decently packed houses over the last few years, the coke 600 this year was pretty full, is it as good as it was 15-20 years ago? Hell no, but there are still people showing up. I do agree they have lost there way trying to cater to new audiences, Brian France didn’t do the sport many favors for sure.
As the winningest manufacturer in NASCAR history I don’t think GM will pull Chevy out, granted the Camaro race car has raced as well as the 6th gen has sold.

NASCAR is an irrelevant joke. The "stockcars" bear no relationship to stock cars, except for being ugly.

There's real racing going on in Indy Car, IMSA, and the NHRA.

I was a huge Nascar and nhra fan and supporter for 30+ years but no more as of the past few years. Now it's IMSA and Indy car pretty much. I'm really getting into the IMSA series. Lol during both the 24 at Daytona and 24 Hours of LeMons, I turned off the TV screen and fell asleep listening to the in car audio. What a amazing sound!
