Maiden night vogage, hit a coon!

Rained yesterday, so left the car in the garage. Ain't had it but 2 days. Wife really wanted to drive it. Short 30 mile run after dark. Seen glowing eyes. 2 big racoons right in the middle of the road. Swerved some and just clipped 1 of them. No damage to car that I can see. Glad it was'nt a deer!

Yikes, that's scary when you have to make a sudden evasive move. Good to hear you got through it okay. Wouldn't want to see two raccoons high fiving after you ended up in a ditch.

Glad you and the car are unscathed. On the way home the night I picked it up, I was on the lookout for deer, cause theres alot of them up here, and I hit an opossum! Neuman!

Hit one with my 3rd gen once. Some car was coming the other way so I put my high beams down. The car passes by and I put the high beams back up to see this blob in the road. I slam on the brakes and the idiot rears up on his hind legs putting his whole body at bumper level.

He put a crack in the front fascia that was pretty big. The crack wasn't obvious because the car was black and the plastic was black. It looked like a thin scratch and I never bothered to fix it.

My roommate nailed a cat with his C6 Corvette, no dent but took pain off about the size of a ping pong ball.. Glad yours appears to be ok!

Grats on the car and happy to hear you and vehicle made it through unscathed.

I can tell you with a high degree of accuracy that if you hit a fully grown Irish Setter with the front end of a Ford Fusion... you will cause roughly $2,500 worth of damage. Funny part was the dog just shook his head and ran off according to somebody who saw it happen. I never saw the dog after I heard the smash.

That was a great birthday present.

Beautiful car. Hit a couple quail on my first long-distance drive. Feathers in the grill but no damage.
