Have a 2011 v6, guessing my key fob lost connection to my car because it will unlock and lock it but will not turn off theft deterrent which is not letting my car turn on. Ordered a new fob online with same fcc id #. Any way i can program the new fob to my car without having the original key?

Dealer would be the only way to do that I believe. I know if you order a new key from Chevy, with your VIN, it would come already programmed.
I have programmed several keys, as the wife keeps losing them, but it is with a full working key. |

The VIN is used to cut the key. The key doesn't learn the car, the Camaro needs to learn the key.
