Two days after I brought my car into the shop I had this idea that I'd be able to get some aftermarket performance parts discounted. Allstate was paying for a new exhaust system anyway, I could think of it like a $700 discount towards any exhaust. Unfortunately the shop said the parts were ordered and they couldn't cancel them.

Well... here we are a couple weeks later and they still don't have the exhaust. I asked them again if they could cancel it. He called up his GM parts guy and was told he could cancel it because it was on back order. So, now I had to do some real quick research and pick an exhaust.

I went with Borla S-Type Sport. lmperformance had it for $1,114. Their website didn't say whether it was in stock or not. Called them at 9 ET they told me to call back at 9 CT. Called them at 9 CT and they told me to call back in 15 minutes. They are in the same state as I am (Florida) so I'd have to pay sales tax.

I did some other searching around and found another place selling for $1,250 and then Crutchfield selling for $1,299. I went with Crutchfield because they are great to deal with. I got the last one, its shipping today and will be here by Monday.

I have a complete 2SS exhaust cat back I would sell. I replaced mine with a borla myself but kept old system complete and intact.
