F1A or F1A-94?
Any one on here with real world experience. Looking to upgrade my P1-X. Wondering if the older F1A design, which makes more power/torque under curve will be better for out heavier cars.
In theory, I feel the -94 makes sense for lighter cars like vettes, but a standard F1A would be better for our 4000lbs cars

I run a f1a with a 3.85 12 rib, it's not quite enough for my setup. Going to be dropping down to a 3.55 to bring it in earlier before eventually going F1x

What kind of boost are you seeing on your application? I know the F1-X is the Mack daddy, but I'm not willing to sacrifice my strut tower to get it to fit. My P1-X is definitely mismatched and out of steam on my application. It makes 8psi with a 3.7 pulley on a 7.0L. I wanted to initially hit the numbers I have, but eventually grow to 16psi.

I am making around 16lbs now on my low compression 7.0L with the size pulley I have right now though I am not picking up real steam until about 3500 rpm. I am wanting to get the F1X and you can massage your strut tower with a hammer I hear...... or have it cut and boxed professionally.

You can make it fit for sure. I've seen SS's with pro notched strut tower braces. I just dont want to go back sawing on my Z/28 that I like to throw around turns on the occasion. Thanks for your input!
