I was thinking about how to make the A6 sound better than just the GMPP exhaust I have. I was wondering if you took that huge resonator out and put in a X-Pipe and then 2 Cherry Bomb Glass packs where the resonator was.

Any thoughts?

You going to leave the AFM active or get it tuned out? If you don't tune it out it will sound like a 4 cylinder with a cracked exhaust when the AFM activates, might sound decent when on 8 cylinders.

Back in 1978 I had a 75 camaro with 350 and a 4-speed --doug thorley headers painted white with cherry bombs man did that thing run and sound GOOD!

Mine sounds like it has glasspaks on it now with the muffler delete and the popping!

Ok you just watched the video. If you check their product line they offer they glass-pack red cherry bombs. The A6 has a huge butt resonator in it, so thinking off cutting it out, put in X-pipe and cherry bomb on each side. Do not throw away resonator incase all this does not work.

Talked with a exhaust guy and he said we could even but two cherry bombs back to back if needed when the AFM kicks in. I am going to try to talk my dealer into turning off the AFM but do not know if they will do it. I do not want to screw up my warranty by touching the computer programming, but if my dealer will do it they know about it then.

Do you have an Auto?

If so look crawl under your car or look at it next time it is on the lift. You will see what I am talking about. By your signature I do not think you have an auto so you do not have to worry about this.
