I've only been there once, and it was to the big island. Next time I go, I'll probably try one of the more popular islands. Not a whole lot of beach where I was (Kona), it was mostly black volcanic rock.

Fortunately I do not have one after hitting multiple IED's and multiple RPG's hitting my Bradley Fighting Vehicle. Neither me nor any of my crew received a scratch.

They gave me his Purple heart. My Uncle who is a Wounded Vietnam Veteran (he owns the PH plates) that I was eligible for it. When I drive my other car who has also the PH I feel proud and it's a way to remember him and all who have lost their lives or have been wounded. Now that I can have them in my Camaro is AWESOME!!!

Very cool indeed. It's a fitting tribute to have your PH plate on an American icon of a car.

I was stationed at Camp Hovey Korea 2Bde 2ID. Yea it sucked cause we were already away from home.

Yeah I am retired after 22 years. That was 04-05. Retired 1 June 08. Korea wa a blast though you worked hard while you were there.

No I thank you for being a supportive spouse and someone who was there for their husband and I thank him for the ultimate sacrifice that allows us to be free to do what we want and drive the most awesome car ever.
